Overview:
As an Operations Associate in Mutual Fund Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of the operational aspects within the mutual fund domain. Your responsibilities will encompass various operational processes, compliance adherence, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing:
Execute and oversee the accurate processing of mutual fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.
Monitor and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
Stay abreast of regulatory changes in the mutual fund industry and ensure operational processes align with compliance standards.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement and update operational procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Client Servicing:
Liaise with Client, Investor and Mutual Fund Advisors to address queries and resolve operational issues.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients regarding their investments and transactions.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess operational processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement process enhancements to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and compliance, to foster a collaborative and integrated operational environment.
Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in mutual fund operations or a similar financial services role.
• In-depth knowledge of mutual fund industry regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
